Amazing Resource!

I love this book! Lots of good readings from Bill Bryson to Richard Rodriquez to useful articles about money and health. I like the article by columnist Slim Randles about coffee. College students of all ages and backgrounds will find something to relate to in each section. The study skills taught in the book are useful in all classes--evidence charts,etc. as are the the active reader strategies such as paraphrasing, summarizing and outlining. A great asset for any student or classroom. Teachers will find much to use in this jam-packed, easy to tote, easy to use textbook!
